The Maltese II features the newest technology in metatarsal protection. A lightweight, polyurethane metatarsal protector flexes with your foot for comfort, mobility and safety. The Vibram Olympia Fire and Ice outsole provides slip resistance in hostile environments. The steel toe meets or exceeds ANSI certification. Breathable 7.5 oz struck through leather provides fire resistance. The Maltese features the exclusive Flex-Shield puncture-resistant midsole construction with multiple layers of woven polyester threads to create a lightweight and flexible midsole that meets ANSI requirements for puncture resistance. Crosstech, by W.L. Gore, protects against blood-borne pathogens and offers breathable, waterproof protection. The rugged, smooth working zipper allows for easy on and off. The Maltese’s stitchdown construction gives it a more stable platform underfoot and is completely recraftable.
