The Lakota Belt is a certified NFPA 2500 (1983) 2022 Edition Fire Resistance (FR) Escape/Ladder Belt (with MUS). It was designed to be assigned to an individual and be donned over the turnout pants. The gross adjustment on the back of the Lakota allows this belt to be quickly sized to a wide range of waist sizes from 28" to 50". This adjustment feature allows a department to reissue it to another firefighter when needed. The forward pulling fine adjustment allows the belt to be tightened or relaxed for a custom fit. The belt is ambidextrous and can be used with bailout systems, Class II harness leg straps, ladder strap, and other equipment. Two certified NFPA Attachment /Positioning points) are standard.
